This week, the Parks, Art, and Culture Committee got to hear about Parks and Recreation’s workplan for 2026. Renovated rec centers will open up, and they’ll continue to focus on healthy trees and plants, sustainable energy and community engagement.

And the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee heard about the airport’s workplan for the year as well. The 10th busiest airport in the world is continuing to expand to make room for all the new travelers.

And the Denver City Council approved a plan to extend Site Development Reviews by 3 years. Rising construction costs, high interest rates, and lower rents have slowed the buiding process.
