This week, the Denver City Council passed a moratorium on the construction of data centers in the city. There won’t be any built for a year, and a work group will be formed to come up with regulations.

The Governance and Intergovernmental Relations Committee sent to the full council some clarifications on the prevailing wage ordinance.

And the Community Planning and Housing Committee sent to the full council a set of regulations for lobbying and city officials. There would be more financial disclosure and increase transparency about when elected officials were lobbied.
