This week, Denver City Council approved with a 7 to 6 vote a contract with Axon to place 50 cameras at 17 locations citywide. The Community Planning and Housing Committee sent to the full council a proposal for a 1 year moratorium on data centers. There will be a work group formed to gather more information. And the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee delayed sending to the council a plan for Veo to take over Denver’s shared scooter and bike program. Committee members want more time to read the contract.
