During the pandemic Andrea Loudd, a disabled resident in a senior living community in Villa Park saw a need to provide fresh food for her community. She launched two initiatives that are still going strong today, Andrea’s No Cost Grocery Store and No Cost Famers Market.
Building a huge coalition of support to supply homes with nutritious basic household produce she has also a created an intergenerational and culturally diverse community where families feed families as Andrea says, “We are all FAMILY here”.
