This week, the Health and Safety Committee sent to the full Denver City Council some proposed changes to Denver’s Automated Vehicle Identification System. Some new rules would come into effect to align with new state regulations that were passed this summer.
The Parks, Art, and Culture Committee sent to the full council some plans to renovate the Blair Caldwell and Montbello libraries. Committee sent to council a contract for $3 million for the design on the project, but the rest of the $25 million will come from the voter-approved Vibrant Denver Bond.
And City Council passed a set of transparency rules for programs that use tax money. The Denver Preschool Program Prosperity Denver Fund, and the Caring for Denver Fund are all going to have more transparency on what their funding could be spent on.
