The Budget and Policy Committee (BPC) ensures that council members are appropriately briefed on the city’s short-term and long-term budget planning. The committee will engage with city agencies and request status updates on their budget planning with a focus on equity framework models. The committee will also discuss and evaluate various policy priorities, including those led by council or councilmembers with best practices and community partnership.
